Urban Agility

When out and about on our walkies we sometimes do some silly agility maneuvers.  We've heard it referred to as Urban Agility.

Do any of you do fun or silly things to add some creativity to your walkies?

  1. What an awesome set of photos. Lovely to see Emma there :) I have enough trouble just keeping up with my two on our walks without making it more creative. But they are off lead in sand dunes and they can get very creative without any input from me, lol!

  2. Urban agility sounds like great fun. I am just so busy chasing squirrels to do any of those things. Maybe I should give it a go when there is no vermin to chase. Have a serene Sunday.

  3. Hi everybody! Sorry for not visiting in ages! Our overseas visitors have just left and we're finally catching up! :-)

We love the pictures of your walk and yes, it's so lovely to see Emma! I can see that you've been keeping busy - belated Happy Gotcha Day to Sweet Pea! :-) And what happened in the end...did you decide to adopt that gorgeous littel staffie girl?

Oh - we really enjoyed your "fishing" video - that looked like so much fun! :-)

  4. Oh - I forgot to say - yes, we always do lots of stuff on my walks to keep them fun & creative - Hsin-Yi is always finding things for me to go over & under (a bit more gingerly now that I'm older & stiffer - hee! hee!) - and we do weave poles with any rows of poles that we find (like the ones around parking lots) and Hsin-Yi also gets me to walk on different types of surfaces...sometimes it's a bit scary - but its always good to have new experiences! :-)

  5. You guys are amazing Its wonderful Emma was so flexible and able to get up on things at her advanced age, your incredible care of her is why she had such a long and happy life. We dont really do urban agility, guess we could try, but Norbert is pretty slow getting up on things as he gets older and stiffer and the pugs too and they are short. What we do try to do is walk different places sometimes and take walks with smaller groups of our dogs so they get more one on one time

  6. Oh we often practice agility, tricks, and obedience on walkies. Momma says it is about something called generalizing.
