Can you guess?

Hello Evfurryone!

I have two little games for all my blog friends to play.  Sweet Pea and I will be starting a new 6 week adventure next weekend.  Can anyone guess what that will be?

Here is your hint:

Who can correctly match the noses with the cute faces they belong too. Let me we warn you MY beautiful Princess nose would never look good on the Jester Pea. I would be mortified to be caught with that nose.

Fond Memory Friday ~ Ice Sculptures

There have been lots of adventures and stories we have been wanting to share with all our friends, but unfortunately sometimes we just didn't ever get around to doing it.

Today's post is a Fond Memory with Emma from the first Friday in February of 2012. Emma and Mom went out to our communities First Friday event. The theme for this one was ice sculptures. They walked around downtown admiring the creative talent of all the ice carvers.

Of course, the Queen Emma drew a huge amount of attention, pets, and stares as no one seems to have ever seen a doggie quiet like her. She sure was an amazing and beautiful friend. We had been inseparable since my family adopted me. She was my big Sis and taught me everything I know. She was also my protector and safety blankie. I took her everywhere with me.

I think I should have went with Emma this time to be her safety blankie.
Looks like there was a shih tzu giving her the evil eyes.

I'm sure she was fine. Everyone human and doggie loved my big sis Emma. She was a very sweet and gentle soul.

Bella's Birthday

It's my Birthday! Whoop, Whoop !!!!!!!!!!

It's my birthday month and we are ready to party! So, let the fun begin.

We started out the festivities with........toys.

I love to play and Mom and Dad picked out the cutest bug eyed duck with bungee legs and a 9 yes 9 squeaker rope toy. Can you believe it? Squeakers and chew toy in one. Brilliant!

Can you guess what else I got?

Yes, Cake!!!

MMMMM, it was yummy delicious sweet goodness.

I noticed a theme here. The cake and my squeaky rope toy are the same colors yellow and orange.. Not planned, but it's a fun coincidence.

We've been going on walkies since the weather isn't so cold as it had been.
One of my parents played hookie so we could all spend the day together and we went for a long walk followed by Dairy Queen for a free doggie ice cream.. YUM!

We've explored two different walks this week we haven't been on for awhile. I have to say it's starting out to be a terrific birthday celebration. I can't wait to see what else the parents have planned....................................................................................................

Stay tuned

Bella

Be My Valentine

Will you be my Valentine?

I'm a shy girl looking for a Valentine.  I enjoy playing sling ball, short walks and long hikes, traveling, tug, wrestling, hamburgers, roast beef, ice cream, cookies, treats, soft snuggly blankies, brain games, tricks, and fun.

I will choose a Valentine from the comments submitted and reveal my Valentine on or after February 14th, 2013.  Good luck evfurryone.

Princess Bella

PeeS: I am NOT looking for romance so any male doggies with a one track mind need not apply.  After all I am a sweet little Princess. That's what Mom says anyway.  Open to any doggie looking for a friend.

Emma Is My Hero

Today around 7:45 a.m. Emma was not able to fight the cancer any longer and passed away.  I have to say I am so very proud of her because she gave it her all.  She is absolutely amazing and I wish I could be more like her.  I admire her strength,  her love for life, her passion for the ones she loves, her spunky spirited joy and yes I admire and love her persistence or as we fondly call it her stubbornness.

In loving memory of my beautiful soul mate.  The Queen of my heart and life.

Emma

Emma we love you more than words could ever say and I can not wait until we meet again.  I know you will find me.  You always do.

We love you BoBo

Staycation

What better way to ring in the new year than with a staycation.  That's exactly what Mom thought so she's been hanging out with us the past two weeks. She's trying very hard to convince Dad WE NEED a stay at home Mom.  You know doggies today could really benefit from that extra supervision, guidance, nurturing, attention, homeschooling and constant love.

We've snuggled, played games, gone for car rides and walks.  One thing is for sure I'm falling behind in my beauty sleep.  Don't humans know you are supposed to take several naps a day?

I wonder how many times I've sniffed this post?  There's always new peemail each time I visit.  I have to read each one.  It would be rude not to.  Mom and Dad just don't understand the importance of a peemail.
While we were out and about today we counted 32 swans.  That's a lot of birds.  Did you know they stick their butts up in the air and their heads down under the water?  I guess they just don't know how to swim.  I don't know how to swim either, but I'm pretty sure it's not like that.
We've been changing up our walking routine, but today was the only day Mom had her camera with us.  She dedicated the day to taking us for a walk one at a time.  It only took 5 hours with a one hour lunch.  Somehow I ended up last.  Not sure how the Queen was at the end of the line.  Mom said it was because she was waiting for the temperature to rise the final 3 degrees to the projected high for the day.

Judging by all the layers of clothes she has on me I think she was predicting some kind of phenomenal blizzard of the century.

In case you can't tell I'm wearing a hooded sweatshirt, a fleece lined wind and rain repellant coat and Bella's snood which Mom thought would make a nice neck warmer for me.
If she keeps adding garments I'll need an assistance dog to help me move about with all that additional weight.  Mom says with my decreased weight and not enough body fat I need these extra layers to protect me from the cold so I can still get some daily exercise to keep up my strength and prevent muscle loss.  I guess we will just think of this as a weight training exercise.  Maybe by spring I'll look like Emma Schwarzendog.

We discovered a section of walking trail we didn't know about and Mom took each of us to explore it.
Sweet Pea got to go on an additional trail we didn't get to go one.  It would have been too much walking for me and Bella had already put in a good distance for her walk.  If you want to know what I think.  I think Sweet Pea went on the extra trail because she needs to loose weight.  Yep, she's a little overweight for her size.  She's been sneaking out and eating what I leave behind before Mom or Dad gets my food bowl picked up.

Here is a really good 2013 drool photo.  I think we're going to have a difficult time topping this exquisitely executed drool performance.
I lost track.  Exactly how many times did she get that drool looped around her snout?

Until next time,
Emma

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I know this post is really late, but better late than never right?

We hope all of our furiends had a very Merry  Christmas and we hope you are all enjoying a very Happy New Year.

Christmas was pawsome at our house.  We got tons of love and lots and lots of presents.

Daddy got us Bo Bo Loofa toys.  Bella's is a a Bo Bo Christmas tree with a gold star on his head.  Pea's is a Bo Bo Reindeer and mine is............................

an Angel.  Daddy picked the Angel Bo Bo just for me!  That's because Mom and Dad always call me the angel.

We were having such a great time Sweet Pea was rolling with excitement.

I think this one is mine.  Can I open it next?

Oh Wow!  It's a Lambie.  I love soft and extra large toys.  I'm sure it will come in handy as a nice pillow too.

This next, this next.  I want this one.

I know there are treats in there somewhere.  Mom thinks it's funny to to shake them all the way to the very tippy toe and watch us try to get them out of that huge stocking.  Dad is the nice guy he helped me get my yummies out by holding the stocking way up and letting all my goodies fall out.  Thanks Dad :)

Sweet Pea is itching from excitement over all the goodies she got.

It will take her weeks to play with all those toys.

I think I did pretty good too.  My mound of toys can double as a soft bed.

We all love opening gifts and it doesn't matter if they come in boxes, bags or wrapping paper.  We love opening them all.  There was one gift under the tree that sat there for days untouched by any of us.  We won't bother anything until Christmas.  Then on Christmas morning Bella kept trying to open this one box again, and again, and again.  Dad taped it all up trying to keep Mom from seeing what was inside before she got a chance to open it.

I guess Bella thought it was really something awesome.  She wanted to open it really, really bad.  After all of us doggies opened our gifts Mom opened this one before it had a whole roll of tape holding the paper on.

It was a box of stainless steel pots and pans.  Sweet Pea, Bella and I thought if we got Mom some new pots and pans she would cook for us more ;)

Of course a Christmas celebration would not be complete without decking the dogs in shiny Christmas bows.

Whew after all that excitement I think it's time for an afternoon nap.
