Happy Halloween

We got jipped this year.  Where's the treats?  Where's the trip to Grandpa's?  Where's the trick or treating at Skippy's house (chihuahua next door)?  We didn't even get to leave the house in our cool costumes.  Fooey! 

Mom and Dad did help us dress up and gave us some treats for posing nicely for the camera.  Check out our costumes.  If I remember correctly Bella has worn the costume I'm wearing today.  Sooooooo, how can it be a Queen costume for me and a Princess costume for her???  New costumes,  please.

Queen Emma:

We had a little fashion faux pas.  My queen hat didn't want to stand up so Dad fixed it.  He wrapped some paper into the shape of a cone and inserted it into my hat and then it sat up straight and queen like.  No, I am not sticking my tongue out.  I would never do such a thing ;)

We call Sweet Pea several nicknames but the one that seems to truly fit is "jester".  Mom and Dad wanted to dress her up as a court jester but didn't get the costume ordered so the next best thing was a..............clown.  She did almost as good as me keeping her costume on and modeling pretty for the camera.  I have to say she is catching on pretty fast.  Way to go Pea. 

Clown Pea:

She has learned she can "earn" treats and if she performs correctly she will get her reward.  We are all food motivated so learning new things is usually easy.  Bella she will work for either her sling ball which you can see in the photo there with Pea or food. 

Mom and Dad wasn't sure how to dress the little princess.  So they thought this was funny.

Bella:

I'm not sure what this means but she took the first head piece off and after the last photo shoot she left the "red" head piece on and was playing with her toy.  Hmmmmm.  I'm not commenting :)  In the first "red" photo her headpiece lights up and blinks.  In the others the camera must have caught it in the off blinks instead of the on blinks.

She posed really well for her photo shoot.  She will work really hard and do anything you say for a reward.  Mom has done classes with her a lot, more so than the rest of us and she is really good at performing requested skills and learning new ones.

Our Halloween wasn't very exciting, but we did have fun entertaining our humans.
