My Ducks Bigger Than Your Duck

Packages have been arriving at our door step because July is Sweet Pea's birthday and that means she get's pressies.  You know Mom is such a softie she can't just get gifts for Pea so we all got pressies.  YEAH!

When Sweet Pea first arrived at our house she got attached to my giant quaking loofa duck.  Being the wonderfully, sweet and awesome Dane that I am I let Pea have my very cool giant quacking loofa duck.  In all honesty I'm pretty certain her interest in my toy at that particular time was not so much like as it was maybe a bit freaked out.  I think my quaking toy disturbed and intrigued her in the beginning.  Now she loves it and tosses it around in pure enjoyment.  It's usually the first toy she runs and grabs.  Well, this poor duck has gotten so much love it's getting a little worn.  Mom decided she would get her another one just like it.  There's just one tiny problem.  The store we got it from doesn't have them anymore and Mom searched and searched and searched online for one.  Finally she found one and ordered it.  Mom and Dad were so excited to find a brand new duck just like the one she already had for her birthday.  Well you tell me if you can see anything wrong with these pictures.

Imagine Mom and Dad's surprise when the duck that came out of that box wasn't even half the size of the old duck.  But the the happy go luck Sweet Pea never made a peep about it.  She played and romped with her new birthday duck just like it was her wish come true.  Now Mom is on a quest to find a new giant quacking loofa duck....again.

That's not the funniest part.  I prefer large stuffie toys and Mom saw these ones called Swingin Safari toys with long bodies, long arms and long legs.  She got Bella a monkey.  Bella's Swingin Safari monkey is 22" long.

Here is my new Swingin Safari Duck.

My new Duck is a giant 30" long.  The teeny tiny little duck Mom bought Sweet Pea for her birthday was a whopping 12".   Her old duck is something like 24".  Hmmmmmm.  I think some Pea got jipped.
